HOW DOES AN ERGONOMIC WORK ENVIRONMENT CREATE A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE?


Competitive advantage describes a company's ability to earn a higher-than-average return. The company's competitive advantage comes from a combination of resources of the company to the extent that they can create unique skills that competitors do not have and can not easily imitate.

Nowadays there is a tendency for consumers to ask for a more affordable personal item in products and services. When the company can give this character to a service or product it can win the customer and there will be a positive response on his part. Consumers are impressed by the products that "work for them". Words such as "emotion", "personal importance", "sentimentality", "convenience", "accessibility", "access" that address the individual and not the object give a special meaning and weight to the meaning of "Ergonomics" which can support a company's competitive advantage.

When the company can promote its ergonomic environment as a point of competitive differentiation and respect for the person, his health and his personality, then it can give prominence in the words mentioned above and create a unique competitive advantage.
